Shenzhen Cherid Media co., Ltd specializes in creating and distributing original animation, as well as developing and marketing animation related products. Cherid is the first Chinese animation company to produce an animated series of Confucius’ lifeand thoughts which won the ‘Best Animated Works’ Prize at the first Asia Premier of the 48th audiovisual festival MIPTV in Cannes.

The company started its business in 2004 by cooperating with BOCOG (Beijing Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games) on “Friendlies”, the world’s first Olympic-themed animation. The company then went through two rounds of restructuring in 2009 and 2011. Now, the company is a state validated animation corporation, a key animation corporation in Guangdong Province and a famous art and cultural corporation in Shenzhen. Our main projects have been given both policy and financial support from China national, Guangdong provincial and Shenzhen municipal governments.

We are trying to build up a comprehensive animation industry chain with original animation as core, animation related product industry as backbone and growth based upon independent early education products to realize sustainable development. We are becoming one of the top-class enterprises of original animation and the leader in Chinese animation industry.
