OBJECTIVES
To teach English in a progressive educational organization in which I can help English language learners to fulfill their academic and personal potential, and to continue to hone and expand my knowledge and skills as an educator.
QUALIFICATIONS
Teaching – Over twenty years of experience teaching English, in a broad range of teaching situations, including day-to-day and long-term substitute teaching, teaching ESL in both inner-city urban and rural environments and teaching Adult ESL in the U.S.A. I have been teaching English in Asia for eight years, at the middle school, high school and University levels in South Korea, as a Teacher Trainer and Mentor for the Malaysia Ministry of Education and as an Advanced Placement (AP) teacher in China. Since the summer of 2014, I have been teaching and tutoring English online to refine and expand the knowledge and skills I obtained from earning my Virtual Teaching certificate (teaching in online and “blended” environments) from the University of California, Irvine.
