• I am an experienced and certified English teacher with over 19 years of experience as an ESL teacher, supervisor and curriculum developer. I’ve worked with a variety of aptitude levels in various settings, to include ESP, TOEFL, DynEd, CALL and DLI.
  
  You’ll notice from my attached resume that I attended university in The Netherlands. It was a four-year program leading to a Bachelor of Education in English, PGCE Equivalent teaching certification. All courses were conducted in English, and due to the nature of its design, the course of study emphasized teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language. I was required to satisfy a year of teaching practice culminating in over 120 hours of observed teaching. My degree has been both translated and legalized; 53 countries having signed the apostille, including the US and the UK. To verify its authenticity to overseas sources, I also had my degree attested at the State Department in Washington D.C., clearing any questions for OCONUS assignments.
  
  I decided to attend university in the Netherlands as they have some of the best language schools in the world. Studying there allowed me to witness first-hand how speakers of other languages are taught English at the university level. Since the course emphasized second language acquisition methodology, it also helped to give me various insights into the modern-methods of the ESL/ EFL teaching field, of which I would eventually become a member.
  
  Since graduating, I have taught in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. I am culturally sensitive, and enjoy working with a variety of people. In addition, I am practiced and professional, highly organized and, given the opportunity, would make a positive contribution to your program.
