Mechatronic Guitar — Project for Final Course of Degree
The final course of my degree was to create a single sting mechatronic guitar. This was done with the use of software such as Solidworks and Arduino. The final product was able to respond to MIDI commands and pick the string as well as a damping arm to stop the string and move a fretting arm to change the pitch of the sound produced. It was able to play at a speed of ~300 BPM. For more information I have a paper written, available on request.
