I have seen an advert online that you are still in need of English Teachers. I would like to apply for a teaching post in your company. I have been an English teacher for four years in both Philippines and South Africa. I have been teaching English to Chinese students as well as a Home-based ESL teacher with the world’s largest online English education platform, 51talk International, Inc.
In 2013, I started enjoying teaching when I decided to work as a volunteer teacher at Lekamoso Secondary School in South Africa. I have taught business courses and Life Orientation in Grade 8, 9 and 10 for five (5) months. It was then that I realized that I am destined to be a teacher. I also taught college students after finishing my Teacher Certificate Program. I am currently working as a Senior High School teacher at Baloy high School which is 25 kilometers away from my place.

I love my job and I love my students. For four years of working for 51talk, I really get along well with my students and also made friends not just to them but to their parents as well. We sing, we dance, we play and we crack jokes over the video cam. I usually extend my time for my students for free. I have worked in Taiwan before as a technical assistant in MXIC. I can adopt easily to the students since I have already taught some of the factory engineers and their children when I was there. I know few mandarin words as well, which I’m using to teach Chinese students online when they don’t know any English word at all. I am used to extended teaching hours for free, for that is what we are doing in the Department of Education in my country right now.
