简介:

Robert James Tudge

12th of November, 2020.

Dear Sir or Madam,
Thank you for viewing my profile and considering me for any suitable teaching options available.

I am confident that my qualifications, skills and experience will serve me to fulfil the chosen position’s requirements and to be a valued member of the staff team. Also, I now have all my documents necessary to transfer my Foreigner\\\'s Work Permit (Z Visa based).

Having graduated in Creative Writing with English [Literature], I have eight years’ experience in EFL teaching, including teaching specialist classes in Creative Writing and English Literature.

I am presently teaching EFL to children in Chengdu, yet wish to teach teenagers or adults again.

Previous to this, I taught at a middle school in Guangzhou, where I taught English Literature (I.G.C.S.E.), Creative Writing and EFL to classes of up to 50 students from Grade 7 to Grade 11, and elsewhere I have taught children from kindergarten right the way up to Grade 12, though most of my students were of primary school age. Here also, I taught EFL, as well as specialist courses in Creative Writing with English Literature, Geography, and Medieval World History. I therefore understand the importance of creating a classroom environment full of games, role-play and other activities to facilitate children’s learning through a student-centred approach, tailored to meet the needs of all students.

Having experienced life in four other European countries, and learnt to communicate well in four foreign languages, I decided to come to China because I wished to learn about your culture, history, literature, as well as learn Mandarin. I have been fortunate enough to have made good Chinese friends here, and I can hold a limited conversation in Mandarin.

I am very enthusiastic about this opportunity to work with you and look forward to discussing all options further at your earliest convenience.

Yours faithfully,
Robert James Tudge.
