Amongst other Degrees, I obtained an Honnors Degree in Dramatic Arts. I also obtained a TEFL/TESOL Certificate (120 hours) and received Category 1 and 3 IB Training.
After twice receiving an award for the best Drama student I enjoyed a diverse career of 33 years in Drama and various related fields.
I have a unique knack for communicating with children of all ages. My passion for Drama is growing with each student\'s life being enriched by my holistic approach to Drama Training. The development of minds, bodies and voices carefully guided with acting techniques are life long skills each and every student is blessed with!
International Companies such as Oxfam Italia and The Canadian International School of Hefei, China is part of my employment history.

My passion for life and people, as well as the energy and pride I put into my work, makes me an asset for any employer!

I taught at Public and Private Schools, various subjects such as Dramatic Arts, Creative Arts, Visual Arts, Afrikaans etc. etc. for 14+ years. All these various institutions\' information can gladly be provided on request.
I have a knack for working with children of all ages.
Apart from teaching I was in charge of after school cultural activities by coaching students for Eisteddfods, Revues, Plays etc. and entering them into various competitions with excellent results! My students won trophees such as Best Actor Awards and special mention certificates as well as Gold certificates.
I\'m passionate about various Drama fields and have 33+ years of experience in Professional Acting and Stage Directing as well as Drama teaching and various Drama related activities.
My company managed the West End Theatre in South Africa.
I have experience in working with International organizations such as Oxfam Italia and my latest employment as a Drama teacher and coach was at an International School in China.
Working in diverse cultural communities is something I enjoy and have a lot of experience in.
I have 14+ years of formal school teaching experience.
Using Drama skills as part of teaching is close to my heart. I\'m passionate and well-groomed in using Drama techniques in order to improve not only students\' language skills but also their confidence. The holistic development of students is my goal. Their minds, bodies and voices are developed and are integrated with acting skills in order to develop well-balanced students who benefit from these skills for the rest of their lives.
I completed i-to-i\'s 120 hour TEFL/TESOL certificate as well as Category 1 and 3 IB Training.
