I am focusing on identifying the potential effects of different vegetations present at different spatial landscape scales on structuring the dietary patterns of functionally diverse predator communities in the agroecosystem, and also the consistency of these dietary patterns across different seasons.
To assess the net impact of predators on prey species by deducting the biomass (or any proxies) of consumed beneficial prey species from the biomass of pests
Use this as a way to construct the quantitative food webs in which second and third-trophic level prey are partitioned to assess the predator-prey interactions.
The assemblages and distribution of gut microbial communities among different predator species
Similarities/dissimilarities in the diversity, distribution and relative abundance of gut microbial communities among different predator species are related to the availability of prey items or surrounding landscape composition.
Predict the functional role of gut microbial communities
Finally, illustrate the co-occurrence networks of prey items and microbial communities inside the gut of different predator species
