I am currently living in Xuhui District, Shanghai, China. Although my most recent Work Permit has just been canceled, I still have a China Residence Permit valid through mid-October 2021. My professional experience over the past decade has mainly been at the high school level. I am an experienced academic manager, including AD/DOS/HOD, as well as an experienced recruiter, teacher trainer, college counselor, and teacher of World History, World Geography, ESL, EAP, and ELA. My degrees and certifications include a B.A. and M.A. in World History, TEFL Certificate from a prestigious college accredited program, and a CIE Global Perspectives certification, as well as having participated in the Rosedale Academy’s online Canadian high school teacher training program. I am also a Ph.D. candidate and the author of dozens of publications.
